I'll get back to you on my impressions of World at War compared to the excellent COD4, after raping some more sneaky Japanese warriors and drunken SS soldiers.
Great graphics, though less impressed than COD4. There is a certain amount of stupidity too in the way some maps are made where a direct course or path is defined for you to walk down, and there is no way around that:
for example, you have to go down a muddy path surrounded by big rocks and woodland. It feels like a trap and you want to go round to the right into the woods to startle the japs hiding in the greenery, but, you can't! The map has U LOBBY world boundaries, even as small as that, not allowing a few meters out of bounds to do a better job at icing the enemy. High notes: FLAME THROWER! Don't have to be a pyromaniac to get pleasure out of using this against the enemy in tight corners
am I sick?! Ah, at least I didn't make the game, or start World War II!
