The [U] clan is now 2 years young. This website was one of our first and can still be used if there ever is a problem with one of the u-clan.com servers.

There has been internal server issues with the actual u-clan.com servers, so just letting all sponsored clans and sites that we're doing all that is possible to put the servers back online. Apologies for all delay.

Whenever this sort of problem occurs, this website can be the shipwreck island for basic info sharing. Otherwise, see you soon in all u-clan.com websites, and game servers!

Holy Cow. Never thought we'd make it. This first chapter comes to an end. 64 players sign up and happily a few months later we get to witness some fine action on U server today with Blawd crowned winner of 1st DC round.

Thanks for all showing up to watch the finals. Thanks to 90NINE for script we used. And Congratulations to all finalists who fought pretty well. And most particularly, well done for your sportsmanship and honourable ways in preparing your duels and compromising when possible. Notice the finals where some players (DRE/Vibrator) chose the opponents' best weapons to suit them. Learning all styles of combat here, and the way you act on the battle field shows your true value.

Second place: Dr Vibrator
Third place: DRE ... SNIPER (to be defined)

A controversial result for some, but to quote some part of an argument after Blawdziew WON THE CHAMPIONSHIP

Side note: not much refereeing done by those eager 5 refs...

As referee, I saw a sudden change in results after Dr Vibrator was winning 3 - 0. This could also be thought of this way: Blawd was doing better and got into the match, pushed by the desire to win. I wish to believe that possibility which was a fucking great comeback to winning a final 4-5!

So the game is finally out on PC. But who can say they are head over heals about the whole idea yet, since one needs a fairly good computer system to get this baby to behave. On top of that, online gaming, will that be free, or will one have to cough up more to pay for a LIVE Gold Membership?
Nevertheless, GTA IV remains a damn good game, even on medium quality settings that most of us will have it set to (if not lower). The SAMP lag is history, and it is back to real precision shooting online.
Despite having completed the game on XBOX360, I still feel lured in to starting from scratch on PC too, despite the horrendous difference in visual quality (no I don't have alienware, perhaps for Xmas?). Will be fun to see you all there once the whole clan has the game in hand. Don't forget to post your LIVE identifications.

Nice SE7EN turf war multiclan match this week. The flavour of first event was brought back (from the dead?) and allowed all to enjoy a flame free few hours.
