The first event will start on October the 25th 2008 at 6 pm(gmt+0)

) Your team stays in a zone for 30s, starting a turf war.

2) After 3 minutes if the opposing team has not entered the zone, your team automatically gets the zone + max kills for the zone.

3) If there are less than 3 players from the attacking team in the zone at any time DURING THE TURFWAR, the war ends automatically. This means your team must STAY in the zone it attacks until that zone is taken over OR until the takeover failed.

4) Once the war is started in a zone and your team is in it, everything is decided by which team gets the max kills in the zone. For example, you are team grove and you're attacking a team ballas zone. Ballas have 4 kills in the zone, which means you need 5 kills or more DURING a turfwar to take the zone over.

One thing to note: the more kills you get in a row, the more special weapons are available to you instantly! For example get to 12 kills without dying (this works whether or not a turfwar is going on) to get a rocketlauncher with 1 rocket, etc.

And to finish, last but not least, this event is about HAVING FUN. This is the first time we're going to use this gamemode this way and not everything might be fair for everyone, there are probably things that should be done better so that all 7 teams are on perfectly equal footing, so let me remind you all that THIS ISNT A CONTEST TO SEE WHO PWNS MORE. Do not make this into a competition too much because there are too many factors that change the fairness:

- Location of territory, this is in SF and yes, some territories will lag more than others.

- Weapon packs, although this is decided by a race, things will not necessarily be fair. For example, vagos have deagle+spas while russian mafia have m4+snipe. You must learn to adapt to the weapon pack your team gets - if you're russian mafia then use heli, rooftops, snipe people! NOTE: When you kill someone he drops all his weapons which you can in turn pick up! You can also buy the weapons you want near your spawn (but you need money and to get money you need kills). So while a team like vagos can attack and take over zones right away, another team might want to drive around killing people to get money to buy guns first.

As you can see all this makes it hard for everyone to be on equal footing, although with weapon drop + ammunation checkpoints things should be ok, this is really just a gamemode where everything is complete anarchy, we're hopefully gonna have lots of laughs!
